Trusted by many chicken and bird lovers
The amount of eggs we get now is CRAZY!!! We have 6 chickens. Before we started feeding them GrubTerra we were lucky to get 1-2 eggs a day. Now we are getting 4-5 a day! We feed Black soldier fly larvae to our chickens every day and the health of our birds has never been better.

When I first got my Grub Terra I fed my chickens (7) about a cup a day for 3 days. Then only once a week after that. They love them and after feeding them the Grub Terra black fly larva they started producing more and bigger eggs. I also noticed they’re feathers looking shinier and healthier. It really does supplement what they need.
Our chickens LOVE these. I love that this company is getting rid of food waste and turning it into a healthy treat for my chickens. We got our flock as all adults ranging in different ages. Maybe it's just a coincidence or maybe it is the help of these treats that has gotten us from 3-5 eggs a day to 4-7 eggs a day since we started treating them to these! Either way, we are very happy with these! Am I the only one that thinks they smell good too? LOL
Happy hens! The 10 girls started molting and egg production dropped from 8 eggs a day to 2, sometimes 3 a day.
After about 4 days of GrubTerra egg production increased to 5 eggs a day. Not bad during molting and humid, hot summer!!
Thanks GrubTerra!! My flock loves the dried black soldier fly larvae snack that I add to their daily feeds. The egg production really seemed to pick up here at Blue Mountain Farm, after adding this daily treat. If the ladies had thumbs, they’d give y’all a thumbs up!
Thanks again!

My chickens love it. They also have been producing more eggs in these shorter colder days than what they were before introducing them to the dried larvae.
Our family chickens had stopped laying eggs for about 2-1/2 months. I started supplementing their diet with the Grub Terra black fly larvae along with oyster shells and they have started laying again. Yea!
Thank you!
Our girls LOVE GrubTerra! They all come running when they hear the bag rustling. We’ve noticed improvement with our older girls’ eggs too! Will never use anything else!
Our chickens come running when they see their treat coming! The girls eggs seem to be coming even more regularly than before and their healthy happy chickens.
Recently purchased Grubterra after hearing it would increase egg production in my chickens during the winter months. I was skeptical but I went from 1 egg a day to 3 or 4!
I give this to my 5 girls every night before bedtime to give them a calcium boost. When they hear the can lid open they know it's time for treats and come running!
The black soldier fly larva are one of our flock’s favorite treats! As soon as they hear the bag rustle, they come running! Happy to have found a product that is healthy and a well loved protein source for our chickens, ducks, and goose!
Make sure you list the correct countries you are sourcing out of and where it is packaged from because my order was made and packed in Mexico, not America. Nowhere in the description did it say Mexico. Very misleading and bad business.
My hens are absolutely bonkers for these black soldier flies! I started mixing them into their morning feeding as a daily treat when they were pullets (middle photo), then gradually scattered them so they could free range in their run and "hunt" them. Now I use them as an evening treat as the light goes on in their coop and they forage and toss the GrubTerra hemp bedding around for me! Win-win! They are plump, healthy, contented birds. Their first molt was almost nothing, and they lay eggs like crazy. These are an irreplaceable part of my hens' daily routine and health, and it's good for the environment because these flies consume waste during production. God bless you, GrubTerra, my hens and I thank you! Maryanna
I mix the soldier fly larvae with scratch and black sunflower seeds. We have a feeder in the enclosure with good feed in it, but the hens run out in their yard first thing every day to get their treat. I think the Grubterra soldier fly larvae is their favorite part.
I used to get a cheaper brand from China, but wanted something better for my hens. After researching, I found Grubterra with quality and better price. My hens make the final decision with a taste test. In one hand their old brand, grubterra in the other. I got a small bag. My hens at first went for the old brand until my top hen at the (Sour II) checked out the new brand. She started doing the high chirping for high value food. Everyone tried to get some. the lowest hens I had to give their taste test away from the flock since the higher ups won't share. All 32 hens picked Grubterra over their old cheaper brand. They're happy with their morning treats, so I'm happy. When the coop auto door opens, I watch my mini raptor race to the back door. They'll peck or jump up against the glass door once they see me with their cup of treats
My hens are molting right now and, even though there are feathers everywhere, they still are looking healthy and laying. Not as many eggs as normal, but the eggs are good size!
I do believe it's because they get the addition of grubs to their diet every day. Thanks Grub Terra!
