Why Give GrubTerra to your flock?
Molting can be a challenging time for chickens, as they lose feathers, use up extra energy, and may stop laying eggs. Without the right nutrients, molting can take even longer, leaving chickens stressed, tired, and vulnerable. Feathers regrow slowly, eggshells can become weak, and overall health can suffer, making this period tough on your flock.
GrubTerra Black Soldier Fly Larvae provide the essential nutrition chickens need to shorten molting time and support healthy feather regrowth providing essential nutrition that mealworms and other supplements do not provide. Packed with protein, calcium, and healthy fats, our larvae help your hens stay strong, energetic, and productive even during molting season.
5 Reasons Why GrubTerra's Grubs can help with your flocks molt!
GrubTerra is good for the environment and great for your flock!
Decrease Molting Times!
GrubTerra dried black soldier fly larvae can help your chickens molt faster and stay healthy! Packed with protein and calcium, they give chickens the important nutrients they need for strong new feathers and a smooth molting season.
Rich in proteins and minerals
75X more calcium then mealworms!
Boosts overall health
Speeds Up Feather Regrowth
Molting requires extra protein to regrow feathers, which chickens often seek out while foraging. Black soldier fly larvae provide a concentrated protein source to help feathers grow back faster, even when free-ranging isn’t possible.
“My chickens are obsessed with these grubs! Egg production has increased, and the shells are thicker. Definitely worth it!”

Supports Immune Health When Chickens Are More Vulnerable
Chickens are more susceptible to stress and illness during molting. Black soldier fly larvae support immune health with essential nutrients, giving them the boost they need to stay resilient through this taxing period without the added stress of free-ranging.

TRUSTED BY CHICKEN AND BIRD-OWNERS, LOVED BY POULTRY!
I've been feeding my hens GrubTerra's black soldier fly larvae for a few months now and have seen amazing results! I have 9 hens, and before we started using GrubTerra, we were only getting about 1 egg a day. After just one month, we were up to 4-5 eggs a day! GrubTerra is an absolute must if you have chickens.

Here’s How We Compare
Grubterra stands out from the crowd, because we care about the details.
My chickens love Hen Harmony! I love being able to give my flock something extra as part of their routine. It’s always nice finding products that make caring for my girls a little easier. Definitely happy to have this in our flock’s lineup! 🐔❤
The chickens don't even notice that anything has been added to the food - but over time, you can definitely see the difference. Firmer egg shells and more vibrant coloring on the combs are probably the two most obvious. Highly recommend Peck Purity!
I have a flock of pullets, hens, roosters, chicks, and turkeys. I absolutely adore my chickens and care about their health. I truly believe in prevention in the most natural way possible. My birds loved when I added Peck Purity to their feed. It smelt so good the turkey tore the bag out of my hand as I added it! I had to take a double take and smell it again myself. It was easy for me to add to their feed and knowing I am helping aid in gut health (the powerhouse of everything!), I feel great giving it to them!
At The Fluffed Crown Homestead, we're always looking for products that help support the health and well-being of our flock while keeping things simple for busy chicken keepers.
One thing I immediately liked about Hen Harmony was how easy it is to use. The included scoop makes measuring simple, and adding it to the flock's water takes only seconds. I also appreciate that it's made in the USA and contains natural ingredients, which is something that's important to me when choosing products for my birds.
With seasonal weather changes approaching, I wanted to add extra vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and electrolytes to help support my flock, and Hen Harmony provides all of that in one product instead of having to purchase several separate supplements.
So far, the chickens have had no issues drinking it, which is always a win when introducing something new. I'm excited to continue using it and monitoring the flock over time.
Thank you, GrubTerra, for the opportunity to partner with The Fluffed Crown Homestead and allow us to share our honest experience with our community of backyard chicken keepers and homesteaders.

Everyday the ducks a the chickens line up for their treats. As soon as they hear the sliding door open they rush over as fast as their little legs will waddle
I've got 30 chickens so I make 2 treat pans for them with Peck Purity on top and they can't get enough. Their poops are firm and their vents are almost sparkly clean! I give that credit to Peck Purity, love this product! Thank you, my girls love it and I'll never stop buying it.
I highly recommend GrubTerra and their Hen Harmony supplement. After using it with my flock for the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed a clear improvement in overall egg production—roughly a 25–30% increase for my hens.
The chickens enjoy it, it’s easy to add to their normal feeding routine, and I’ve been very happy with the results. Based on my experience so far, Hen Harmony has definitely earned a place in our regular flock-care routine at TE&A Hatchery.
I would absolutely recommend GrubTerra to other backyard chicken keepers and poultry owners looking for a quality supplement for their flock.
